Our repertoire analysis was used in the study of leukemia. The authors isolated adult T-cell leukemia (ATL) cells expressing the cell adhesion molecule 1 (CADM1) molecule and regulatory T cells in the peripheral blood of ATL patients and performed TCR repertoire analysis. As a result, it has been reported that ATL cells expressing CADM1 express specific TCRs different from those of Treg cells. These results suggest that ATL cells and Treg cells are derived from different cell clones, although they have similar phenotypes.
